The Free and Equal project sponsored by The Initiative Sankofa d’Afrique de l’Ouest (ISDAO), works to challenge the amount and intensity of human rights abuses that are directed towards LGBTQI persons, sex workers and PWUDs in Nigeria, that exposes them to a host of dangers and interferes with their ability to access proper sexual and reproductive health and rights services.this situation. 

The project achieves this by addressing misrepresentations and ignorance of the laws that have allowed these situations to hold strong in Nigeria. It will do this through training and consciousness-raising for members of these groups on their rights, engaging law enforcement, and consciousness-raising on human rights laws as they hold in Nigeria.
