We joined the NDLEA in Imo State to kick off our International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking activities with a powerful community rally and awareness campaign. The goal was to educate the public on drug use, abuse, trafficking, and harm reduction.
The rally, held in key areas of Owerri, featured street sensitization on drug abuse, distribution of educational IEC materials, and harm reduction messaging for people who use drugs (PWUD). This campaign is part of our project: Empowering Change: Addressing Stigma, Advancing Livelihoods, and Promoting Rights for PWUD and SW Communities in Nigeria ? proudly supported by ISDAO. Drug use is a public health issue. Together, we can break the chains.
