Last week, YABS held an Organizational Financial Policy Development & Automation Retreat, marking a major step toward improving transparency and financial efficiency. With the participation of four YABS Board of Directors, the retreat focused on reviewing our outdated financial procedures (in use since 2017) and initiating a transition from manual systems to a fully automated financial management process.
A financial consultant was engaged to facilitate the review and build the capacity of six key staff members, equipping them with the tools needed to manage modern, digital financial systems effectively. This strategic move reflects our continued commitment to accountability, sustainability, and best practices in nonprofit financial management.
